Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood Marries For The Fifth Time

Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood has officially tied the knot for the fifth time.

The British rocker shared pics of his honeymoon in the South Pacific by posting intimate photos with his new wife on social media.

“The South Pacific does its magic !!! A honeymoon with my love Elizabeth…creating moments to be remembered !! Sun health and happiness!!” Fleetwood wrote in the caption of a post shared to his Instagram.

In the accompanying photo, Fleetwood and his new bride, Elizabeth Jordan, lean into one another, cheekily posing behind Fleetwood’s upheld fedora.

Jordan has been his partner for six years. The pair made their first public appearance together in 2023, attending the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles together.

They quietly got engaged last year, according to Mick’s musician friend, Mike Lawson, who posted about their upcoming wedding on Threads at the time.

On this day in 2009 – George Harrison gets a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

On this day in 2009 – Former Beatle George Harrison was honoured with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. Sir Paul McCartney attended the unveiling outside the landmark Capitol Records building, joining Harrison’s widow Olivia and son Dhani. Eric Idle, Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and musician Tom Petty also attended the ceremony.

YES Announce 24th Studio Album ‘Aurora,’ Share Title Track

YES have announced their 24th studio album, Aurora, will be released on June 12 via InsideOutMusic/Sony Music.

The band also shared Aurora’s title track, which is the first single from the album.

Aurora will be available as a limited edition deluxe 180-gram light green 2 LP/2 CD/Blu-ray artbook and poster, limited edition 2 CD/Blu-ray artbook, with a bonus disc of instrumentals, and a Blu-ray featuring Dolby Atmos, 5.1 Surround Sound and 24 bit stereo mixes. The album is also available as a gatefold 180-gram 2 LP with booklet, special edition CD digipak, and digitally.

Speaking about the upcoming album, YES guitarist and backing vocalist Steve Howe said, “Making this record was joyful, a chance to play, explore and give everything to the music. It’s always been about collaboration, somebody can write a song, but until everybody puts their contribution in it isn’t really a YES song. We’re not trying to echo the past; we’re carrying the spirit of YES forward and turning it into something new.”

On this day in 2012 – Five of Tom Petty’s guitars were stolen from a soundstage in Culver City, California, where Petty and his band, the Heartbreakers, were rehearsing for their upcoming worldwide tour.The stolen gear included a 1967 Blonde Rickenbacker, a 1967 Epiphone Sheridan, a 1965 Gibson SG TV Jr., a Fender Broadcaster and a Dusenberg Mike Campbell Model, which belonged to Campbell himself. Petty was offering a “no questions asked” reward bounty of $7,500 to anyone with information leading to the guitars’ recovery.

Foreigner Announce New Album ‘In The Eye Of The Storm’

Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foreigner has announced a new album, In the Eye of the Storm, due out July 17.

In the Eye of the Storm is the official soundtrack to the band’s landmark 50th anniversary concert film, captured at Ellis Island and Brooklyn’s Dumbo House.

The band will release “Feels Like The First Time,” the first single from the album, on April 17th.

April 17th is also opening night of their highly anticipated new musical, “Feels Like The First Time – The Foreigner Musical,” at the Little Theater on Long Island University’s Post campus, where it will play 11 performances.

Ozzy Osbourne was at a loss to explain its popularity, saying, ‘I suppose Americans get a kick out of watching a crazy Brit family like us make complete fools of ourselves every week.’

Billy Idol Announces New Summer 2026 U.S. Tour Dates

Billy Idol has announced new summer 2026 U.S. tour dates.

After touring venues across the U.S., Europe and Latin America, the next leg of his highly successful world tour, called “It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!,” will include 17 dates in the U.S.

The Live Nation-produced summer tour, across arenas and amphitheaters, will launch at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on August 7, and conclude in Raleigh, North Carolina, on August 23.

The legendary rock star will follow it up with his Hot In The City: Las Vegas residency from August 28 to September 5.

He gets excited around cats and is a playful fellow, especially around kids. Ghost also loves car rides and toys, and would love to meet you!

On this day in 2016 – Fleetwood Mac Fires Lindsey Buckingham

On this day in 2016 – Fleetwood Mac announced that Lindsey Buckingham had been fired from the band and would be replaced by Crowded House’s Neil Finn and Mike Campbell, former lead guitarist of (with Tom Petty) & The Heartbreakers on their upcoming tour. Describing Lindsey’s departure as bittersweet, Stevie Nicks stated: “Our relationship has always been volatile.”

 

Ringo Starr Shares ‘Choose Love’ From Upcoming Album ‘Long Long Road’

Beatles legend Ringo Starr recently released a new single, “Choose Love,” from his upcoming solo album, Long Long Road.

“No matter what you choose, ‘Choose Love,'” Ringo said on social media. “I just love that song. I am peace & love, that’s what I do.”

“Choose Love” is described as a “fresh take” on the title track of Ringo’s 2005 album. The new version features vocal harmonies from rocker St. Vincent.

Long Long Road, described as having “roots in Country and Americana,” will be released April 24. It is Ringo’s second album with producer T Bone Burnett, following 2025’s Look Up.
