After a very successful first round for area teams, the Mahaska Zone Network will be carrying two games once again live on the air.
On 99.5 FM and AM 740 KMZN, you can hear Lynnville-Sully take on unbeaten Winfield-Mount Union in the Round Two of the Class A Playoffs. Lynnville-Sully got a 36-34 win over Pekin on the road to move to 7-3 on the season. Now, the Hawks have to face a team that also beat Pekin this season. W-MU finished the season ranked #8 in the Radio Iowa poll, and they took out North Linn, 38-0, in Round One.
On 104.9 FM, you can hear Montezuma try to continue their Cinderella run against Denver on the road. Montezuma got an upset win over Maquoketa Valley, 21-13, in Delhi in Round One. That long trip will be duplicated with a trek to Denver, which is north of Waterloo. Denver is 9-1 this season, and was the District 4 Champion in Class A.

Also, during the broadcasts will be reports from the Class 2A battle between Mid-Prairie (8-2) and Albia (10-0) game. There will also be reports from the 8-Player contest between Colo-Nesco (8-2) and Moravia (10-0).
