Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Reveals Presenters For Journey and ELO

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place on April 7th, and the Hall has revealed more of the presenters and performers set to appear at the induction ceremony in Brooklyn.

Rolling Stone reports that Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) will be inducted by Dhani Harrison. This comes from the long-time friendship and collaboration between Dhani’s father, George Harrison, and ELO’s Jeff Lynne.

Pat Monahan, frontman of Train, will be on hand to induct Journey.

The Rock Hall’s most recent announcements come after earlier word that Neil Young, Rush, and Jackson Browne would be on hand as presenters. Young will be inducting his buddies Pearl Jam, Rush welcomes Yes to the Hall, and Browne will be brought to the stage to induct Baez.

Also on tap for the night, is a special Rock Hall tribute to Prince, performed by Lenny Kravitz. It is assumed that the tribute will include some of Kravitz’s favorite Prince songs. “Not to be dramatic or overly sensitive, but I really feel like a piece of me died,” Kravitz wrote after Prince’s death last year. “He was a mentor and then someone I got to know as a friend and play with. So when he left, a part of me really went too.”
