(OTTUMWA, Iowa) – Indian Hills Community College is offering a path for interested people to earn their high school equivalency diploma in as little as two months and the next courses begin in April.
Interested parties may attend an orientation meeting about earning their High School Equivalency Diploma on Tuesday, April 3 at 9:00 AM in the Community Education Center at the North Campus of Indian Hills Community College (15260 Truman Street, Suite 2, Ottumwa, IA).
The orientation lends to a quick turnaround. Classes will begin the following Monday, April 9. Morning and afternoon classes are available, and students are encouraged to work at their own pace. Online classes are also available.
Participants are eligible to take the HiSET if they are 19 or older and not enrolled in high school OR if they are 17 or 18, out of school, and have parental permission.
Indian Hills Community College offers HiSET (High School Equivalency Tests, formerly GED) preparation courses and materials at no cost. To sign up or learn more, call 641-683-5747.
