Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham Seemingly Back On Speaking Terms
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are seemingly back on speaking terms after the pair appeared on the “Song Exploder” podcast to discuss the making of their iconic track “Frozen Love.”
Last month, the legendary duo reissued their 1973 album Buckingham Nicks, making it publicly available for the first time since its original release.
While the “Song Exploder” appearance seems to comprise two separate interviews, Nicks did share that the former lovers and Fleetwood Mac members are now back on speaking terms:
“Lindsey and I started talking about it last night. This whole thing seems really like yesterday to us,” she said.
Just last year, Nicks had said that she could only stand to speak with her former Fleetwood Mac bandmate and ex-partner “for about three minutes.”
During her segment of the interview, Nicks explained the theme of “Frozen Love,” saying, “The song is about two people that were in love, that had a lot of differences and saw the world slightly differently, but had this like relationship that seemed to be, like a gift.”
“I like to think of it as Wuthering Heights or Great Expectations — a modern-day love affair, tragedies. Because nobody really loves happy songs. Certainly, I didn’t, and neither really did Lindsey,” she continued.

HBO Reveals John Lennon, Yoko Ono Documentary To Premiere In November
HBO has revealed the premiere date of a new documentary on John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
The HBO Original documentary One to One: John & Yoko, directed by Academy Award winner Kevin Macdonald, premiers on November 14 at 8:00-9:45 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
The film screened to critical acclaim at multiple film festivals, including Venice, Telluride, and Sundance.
A rare and revelatory inside look at Lennon and Ono’s first year in New York City in the early 1970s, One to One: John & Yoko delivers an immersive, cinematic experience that brings to life a chapter of explosive creativity and political activism in their lives.
On August 30, 1972, John performed at the “One to One” benefit concert at Madison Square Garden – his only full-length show after leaving The Beatles. Footage of this electrifying performance from John and Yoko along with The Elephant’s Memory Band has been restored for the documentary and is interwoven throughout the film along with other never-before-seen material.
Featuring music newly remixed and produced by Sean Ono Lennon, the documentary takes that legendary musical event and uses it as the starting point to explore 18 defining months in the lives of John and Yoko.
Filmed in a meticulously faithful reproduction of the duo’s New York City apartment, One to One: John & Yoko offers a bold new take on a seminal time in the lives of two iconic artists and how their work continues to resonate today.
