H & S FEED & COUNTRY STORE PET OF THE WEEK: EVANGELINE

This week’s H&S Feed and Country Store Pet of the Week is “Evangeline”, a positively adorable 11 month old female pooch. Evangeline is great with other dogs, but she gets excited around cats. Evangeline loves kids and people in general, and would make an awesome family dog! Evangeline is fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and she is ready for her ‘furr-ever’ home!

And since Evangeline is the H & S Feed & Country Store Pet of the Week, her adoption fee is only $50 this week!

If you’d like to set up an appointment to meet Evangeline or any of the pets at Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter, visit https://www.stephenmemorial.org/ and fill out an adoption application.

Duran Duran To Release ‘The Wedding Album’ And ‘Thank You’ On Vinyl

On April 10, Duran Duran will bring 1993’s Duran Duran (The Wedding Album) and 1995’s Thank You back to vinyl for the first time since their original release.

Both albums will be reissued as 2LP sets and on CD, with pre-orders available here.

Following last summer’s acclaimed vinyl and CD reissues of their first five studio albums — Duran Duran, Rio, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, Notorious and Big Thing — the band now presents The Wedding Album and Thank You in newly remastered editions. Both titles feature the latest audio remasters, with the vinyl configurations expanded to deluxe 2LP formats.

The Wedding Album is housed in a newly embossed sleeve and accompanied by a 12-inch art card, while Thank You is presented in a gatefold sleeve with a fold-out poster faithfully replicating the original release. The updated CD editions are packaged in paper sleeves, replacing the original jewel cases.

Released in 1993, Duran Duran — the band’s second eponymous record, affectionately known as The Wedding Album — debuted in the top 10 on both sides of the Atlantic.

Thank You was the 1995 follow-up album of covers featuring Duran Duran’s versions of classic songs written by Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Lou Reed, Public Enemy and Elvis Costello.

Looking ahead, Duran Duran have already announced major live performances for 2026. After headlining the Beachlife Festival in Redondo Beach, California, in May, the band will return to Las Vegas for four shows at the BleauLive Theater at Fontainbleau Vegas. The summer run continues across Europe in June and July.
