The Oskaloosa Boys Golf team competed at the District Meet at Edmundson Golf Course on Thursday, May 17th. The boys took home first place in the overall, shooting a 310. Spencer Tucker also contributed a score of 72 and took home the individual runner-up. Here’s what Coach Bret Foster had to say:
“The guys played awesome today. I am very proud of this group for accomplishing their goals. They worked really hard for this and they earned everything they got! Spencer led the way, battling back from a tough start. Austin also started a little rough on his first hole but then put together a great round. Noah had his all-time low score easily and really was a big key for us. He showed a ton of composure and competitiveness in his round. Rian battled through a few tough holes and finished not quite where they wanted but still quality rounds. All the guys grinded through their rounds under stressful conditions and I’m very proud of all of them.”

The boys will play next Thursday and Friday at Lakeside in Fort Dodge. Way to go, Oskaloosa Indians Boys Golf Team!
