Get ready Meghan Markle…when Prince William and Kate Middleton met with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit in Norway, no one could help but notice Kate looked a little cold. It only appeared that way because the Duchess never took her coat off. Turns out she wasn’t cold, it’s royal protocol.
According to the OK!, the women of the royal family aren’t allowed to take them off in public as its “unladylike to undress in public.”
If they show up at an event with a coat on, the removal is never caught on camera. Good thing it was negative six degrees when the royals were visiting Norway. Otherwise Kate might have been a little warm!
According to the 2010 U.S. Census, Monowi, Nebraska is the only town in the country with one resident. As the only person living in Monowi, 84-year-old Elsie Eiler is the town’s mayor, clerk, librarian, and bartender among other functions. She even pays $500 in taxes to keep the water and electricity on. Back in the 1930’s the town was bustling with 150 residents, three grocery shops and even a prison. Why’s she still there? Eiler grew up on a farm in the town and says she’s happy there.
