OFFBEAT NEWS:
Uber Driver Discovers Her Boyfriend Is Cheating When She Picks Up His Mistress
A Uber driver found out the hard way her boyfriend was cheating on her…by driving his mistress right to his front door. In case you missed it, the woman, who goes by the moniker Emsixelaa, tweeted the entire story, which has since gone viral.
After saying goodbye her boyfriend, who claimed he was flying to New York to see his sick mother, Emsixelaa started her shift as an Uber driver. She picked up an excited woman who said she was going to see her boyfriend for the first time in a while. When they showed up at the apartment complex, her boyfriend walked out and offered to help with the mistress’ luggage.
The driver says that’s when “the devil rose up out of me” and her now ex-boyfriend started to run. At one point she started hitting him and the mistress tried to defend him and hit the original girlfriend. The scorned woman ended her story by confirming she drove off with the mistress’ luggage and is now enjoying the single life.

Cat Disappears In California, Found Years Later In Canada
Boo Boo the cat has had quite the vacation. Back in 2014, the feline went missing from her Watsonville, California home. Almost four-years-later, Boo Boo was found in Ontario, Canada.
Boo Boo’s owner Ashley Aleman has an inkling as to how her pet got 3-thousand miles from home. Apparently the cat has a habit of jumping in strangers’ cars.
Fortunately, Aleman had Boo Boo microchipped, so they’ll be reunited, but it won’t be a quick trip. First, animal protection officers will be carrying the cat across the border today to hand her off to Aleman’s mother in Buffalo, New York. Then, Boo Boo will fly cross-country to California.

Tape Worm Found Living Inside Teen’s Brain
Not all migraines are created equal. One teenager in China went to the hospital complaining of headaches and epilepsy and discovered the cause was a tapeworm that was living in his brain.
The parasite had been eating 19-year-old Wen Xiaoli’s brain cells for two years and had grown to over four-inches. “It was alive; it was still moving inside the brain,” surgeons say. “We had to remove it intact and couldn’t risk breaking its body or else it would continue to survive inside.” Doctors were able to remove the worm in two-minutes.
Wen believes he contracted the parasite while skinning a frog. “I cut my finger, and the larvae must have entered through the wound,” he remembers. “No wonder my finger itched so much in the days that followed, but I didn’t think too much about it – how was I supposed to know that it was a worm?”

STUPID CRIMINALS:
YouTube video leads to police raid:
Again, you should keep your criminal activity off YouTube. Police in Harvey, Illinois got a tip about a 40-minute video showing a group of men appearing to flash guns, smoke marijuana and sell drugs, and even brag about dog fighting and having a dead dog in the garage. That’s right, a 40-minute video. Authorities were able to get a warrant to search the house in the video and sure enough, they found drugs, weapons, and one dead animal along with two other “poorly-treated dogs.” Three people were taken into custody.
TSA agent fired after they let a loaded gun go through security:
As a TSA agent, you have one job: make sure nothing dangerous gets past you. An employee at Atlanta International Airport who was already on probation was given the boot after Katrina Jackson realized she had brought her handgun in her bag with her and it made its way through security. Jackson told the officers, who confiscated her gun and her bag. That’s when the unnamed TSA agent was fired. While Jackson claimed to have a permit, she didn’t have it on her so she was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun.
Woman pulls out a gun over penny payment:
Paying with change can be annoying for cashiers and a 7-Eleven employee in Melbourne, Florida made the executive decision not to let Adekemi Ayeni pay for her entire purchase in pennies. That did not sit well with the 20-year-old, who “began throwing and pushing items off of the counter and at the clerk” before returning with two guns and “indicated she was going to shoot the clerk.” Ayeni fled without firing any weapons and the cashier only suffered minor injuries. After releasing her photo to the public, police discovered they had the suspect in custody on unrelated charges. Her previous crime? Pointing a gun at a woman during a dispute. At least she’s consistent.
