Born on this day in 1951 – American blues/rock guitarist Jimmie Vaughan who was a member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. He is the older brother of the late guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. The Fabulous Thunderbirds had three hits of the 1980s, ‘Tuff Enuff’, ‘Powerful Stuff’ and ‘Wrap It Up.’
