IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa women’s basketball team will be a No. 6 Seed in the Spokane Regional 4 and will travel to face 11-Seed Murray State in the 2025 NCAA First Round on Saturday, March 22. The 3-Seed Oklahoma Sooners will host the first and second round in Norman.

The Hawkeyes have made seven consecutive NCAA Tournaments and have been a 6-Seed or better in nine straight NCAA Tournament Appearances. It marks Iowa’s 31st all-time tournament appearance.

If Iowa won against Murray State, it would take on the winner of 3-Seed Oklahoma and 14-Seed Florida Gulf Coast, which will take place on Saturday. The Hawkeyes (22-10; 10-8) will face the winner of that game on Monday. Game times and TV designation will be released at a separate time.
