Born on this day in 1938 – DJ Wolfman Jack. Master of ceremonies for the rock ‘n’ roll generation of the ’60s on radio, and later on television during the ’70s. He died of a heart attack July 1st, 1995.

In 1974, Canadian rockers The Guess Who paid tribute to the Wolfman with their hit, ‘Clap For The Wolfman’.
