The Who have released a new live video of “Getting in Tune” in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their 1971 classic, Who’s Next.
The Who have also promised that they would come out with some more rare surprises over the next few days.
“Celebrating 50 years of Who’s Next until 27 August, here’s ‘Getting in Tune’ from Cleveland, 2000 plus a nice little bonus for your Clevelanders at the end,” the band tweeted.
The visual is from the band’s September 30, 2000 show that took place at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The video shows Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle, with Pete Townshend on the acoustic guitar, in terrific form.
Earlier this year, the band released a super deluxe of The Who Sell Out, featuring 112 tracks, photo booklets and loads of rarities and memorabilia, raising hopes that they will come out with a Who’s Next reissue.
