The Oskaloosa High football team goes into district play this week with a 2-2 record, after tenth-ranked Norwalk beat the Indians 31-7 on Friday night (9/20) in Oskaloosa. Norwalk quarterback Zack Marker passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more. Oskaloosa’s only touchdown came on a 21 yard pass from Will Schultz to Noah Van Veldhuizen. The Indians also lost three players due to injury in that game: kicker/linebacker/and slot back Aaron Blom apparently re-injured his ankle on the first play of the game, running back Tyler Miller left the game late in the first half and did not return and quarterback Will Schultz left the game in the second half and did not return.
