Oskaloosa–The William Penn men’s basketball team’s perfect week kept it at #6 as the NAIA released its fourth Division I rating Tuesday.
The Statesmen (16-2, 9-1 Heart) now own 189 points. Peru State (Neb.) is also ranked at #24, while three other squads are receiving votes: Graceland is #27, MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) is #30, and Benedictine (Kan.) is #34.
Pikeville (Ky.) is again #1 with 219 points and all nine first-place votes. LSU Alexandria, Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), Columbia (Mo.), and Georgetown (Ky.) round out the top five.
William Penn is home Wednesday, hosting Graceland in Heart of America Athletic Conference action at 7:30 p.m.
