Yes has announced their annual Cruise to the Edge has been booked for 2018.
The cruise will be held over a five-night voyage from Tampa to multiple ports including, Belize City, Belize and Costa Mayo, Mexico. The ship sets sail on February 3rd. Ticket holders are invited to attend a complimentary party in Tampa the night before the ship leaves port.
Aside from Yes, the 2018 Cruise to the Edge lineup includes scheduled appearances from Prog bands; Marillion, Steve Hackett, Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy and Jethro Tull veteran Marin Barre, along with an array of performers that includes Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian, Saga, Gong, Glass Hammer, Adrian Belew Power Trio and more which can be seen below.
Cruisers will have opportunities to interact with the artists in Q&A sessions and “photo experiences”. There will also be Late Night Live programs, special theme nights, and much more.
Tickets are set to go on sale to the public May 3rd, with cabin prices starting at $1,249 per person in a double-occupancy cabin. The voyage will take place on Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas, which “combines acres of glass enclosing a nine-story central atrium, elevators facing the sea, and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout” and offers multiple opportunities to exercise, relax, or seek out onboard pampering as well as “some of the best food and service afloat.”
