This year the Social Media class is hosting their annual Break the Wall event on May 5th at Smokey Row from 4-6PM.

Break the Wall is an initiative created by the social media class to create awareness about bullying and promote a more positive use of social media. The students will be taking walls to the Oskaloosa High School, Smokey Row, and will have them on William Penn’s campus over the next few weeks. Students, community members, and others that have been affected by bullying are encouraged to participate by writing the negative and hurtful things that have been said about them on the walls.

On the day of the event all those that participated are welcome to come out and help the social media class break these walls down at Smokey Row.
