The Wapello County Children’s Alliance  will be hosting their 7th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on August 6th at Cedar Creek Golf Course in Ottumwa. Registration begins at 8 am.

This year the name of the tournament has been changed to the Deb House-Deere Memorial Golf Tournament in memory of our dear friend, colleague and Children’s Alliance member Deb House-Deere who passed away in December, 2015.

It is $50/golfer for the 4 person best ball tournament. There will be Flight Winners, and contests for longest drive, longest putt, closest to pin and a putting contest with prizes for each.

There are also raffle tickets being sold by Children’s Alliance members with prizes that include a Honey Creek Resort package, an IHCC Athletic Department gift basket (including tickets to 2016-17 basketball games) and a YMCA 3 month Family Membership. The drawing will be held at the tournament on August 6.

Proceeds from the tournament go to both the Wapello County Children’s Alliance and the Wapello County Family Treatment Court to assist in the prevention of child abuse and neglect in our area.
