The Sweet Corn Serenade & Craft Show will take place Thursday, July 30th in Downtown Oskaloosa from noon to 9:00 pm.  There will be Music by Diana Upton-Hill is sponsored by Bank Iowa from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  Enjoy food, craft and product vendors beginning at noon. Kid’s events to start at 4 pm include Fun with Mahaska County Farm Bureau, YMCA, Community 1^st Train rides, Balloons by Terrific Tom, Giant Slide and pedal tractor pull. Registration for the Hawkeye Pedal Pull is from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, with the pull beginning at 6 pm. Pie baking contest begins at 5:30 pm with registration at 5:00 pm at the bandstand. Bring one pie to sell and one pie to judge—no cream pies. Vanguard Cadets perform at 7:40 pm and the Municipal Band plays at 8 pm.
