The Mahaska County Master Gardeners will be discussing eating in season, concentrating on eating fruits and vegetables in season, food preservation and storage (including tips), and local foods.  The idea exchange is Tuesday, April 5th at 7:00 pm at the Mahaska County Extension office. The event is free, open to the public should last about an hour.  Anyone interested in the topic is encouraged to attend.  Prior registration is not required, but appreciated.
