The Southern Iowa Friends of the NRA are holding their 19^th annual banquet and auction Saturday night in Ottumwa.  Keith Caviness, a member of the banquet committee, talks about the event.  “Our effort every year is to have folks come in and enjoy a really nice meal at Bridge View.  And then we have a variety of things to raise funds with.  We have a silent auction, a live auction and some games that people can play and win different pieces of merchandise.  We’ll have over 25 guns for giveaway and for sale.”    Caviness says some of the money raised at the auction goes back to local schools for shooting programs. The Southern Iowa Friends of the NRA banquet and auction is Saturday night at Bridge View Center in Ottumwa.  Doors open at 5 with the banquet at 7.  Tickets are still available; call 641-682-4255 for more information.
