Legendary rock band Styx and Cleveland-based nonprofit arts organization Kaboom Collective have announced a new documentary, Twenty Years On.

The documentary, chronicling the two-decade partnership between Kaboom Collective and Styx, will premiere on June 6th, at 7:30 pm at Heights Theater Studios, Kaboom’s professional soundstage in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Styx, with a catalog that spans more than five decades and includes anthems like “Blue Collar Man” and “Too Much Time On My Hands,” is a genuine partner in Kaboom’s mission over since they first became associated twenty years ago.

Members of the band have returned to perform, mentor, and collaborate with Kaboom students again and again, reflecting a relationship built on mutual respect and a shared belief that great music belongs to everyone.

“We are excited to be a part of the Kaboom Collective documentary, Twenty Years On. It is amazing to celebrate our relationship and performance with the Cleveland Youth Orchestra twenty years later and see the kids grown up. We can’t wait for you to see it!” frontman Tommy Shaw shared.

Twenty Years On is directed by Evan Haiman and produced by Charlie Brusco, Liza Grossman, Haiman, and Joe Weagraff, with executive producers Jean Harry and the Brenda Fuchs Family Foundation, and the Arthur E., Elsie G., and Betty M. Kranz Family Foundation.

The film features archival footage from the landmark 2006 concert at Blossom Music Center and the 2016 concert special Sing for the Day, woven together with present-day interviews and new studio sessions recorded at Heights Theater Studios.

Rhino High Fidelity (Rhino Hi-Fi) continues its premium audiophile series with a trio of celebrated albums from Dusty Springfield, Cher, and Joni Mitchell.

The latest installment of the limited-edition vinyl reissue series features Dusty in Memphis, 3614 Jackson Highway, and Court and Spark.

The releases, cut from the original master tapes by Kevin Gray and pressed on 180-gram black vinyl at Optimal in Germany, feature glossy gatefold packaging with “tip-on” jackets and newly written liner notes.

The albums are limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies and are available exclusively at Rhino.com and select Warner Music Group stores internationally.

Dusty in Memphis, recorded at American Sound Studio under the direction of Jerry Wexler, Tom Dowd, and Arif Mardin, arrived in 1969. The album, which is a permanent fixture on “Greatest Albums of All Time” lists, has been inducted into both the Grammy Hall of Fame and the National Recording Registry.

3614 Jackson Highway takes its title from the street address of the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio where Cher recorded with the legendary “Swampers.”

Court and Spark signaled Mitchell’s move from folk toward a sophisticated, jazz-inflected pop sound. Recorded with the jazz-fusion ensemble the L.A. Express, the record became the most successful of Mitchell’s career, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and producing her highest-charting singles, “Help Me” and “Free Man In Paris”.

The Rolling Stones recently released a music video for “In The Stars,” the lead single from their newly announced 14-track studio album, Foreign Tongues.

The video, directed by Francois Rousselet, features actress Odessa A’zion. Artificial intelligence entertainment startup Deep Voodoo created the video, using deepfake technology.

The visual features young versions of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood performing the song alongside musicians from various eras as A’zion dances around, at one point licking Jagger’s face.

“Are you kidding me? It’s my dream. The first record that I ever got that I listened to from start to finish was Tattoo You. I’m obsessed with the Rolling Stones. This is in my bucket list for sure.” A’zion said on working with the Stones.

Foreign Tongues is due out on July 10th via Capitol Records. The album comes three years after the band’s Grammy Award-winning Hackney Diamonds, which topped charts worldwide and achieved multi-platinum success.

Billy Idol will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd American Music Awards.

CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced that the rock legend and 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be honored in recognition of his incomparable career, body of work, unparalleled contributions to music, lasting legacy and continued influence on generations of artists and fans.

At the ceremony, taking place on Monday, May 25, Idol will perform a medley of his greatest hits, marking his first ever AMA performance and his first time returning to the stage since presenting in 2004.

AMA executive producers Barry Adelman, EVP, Television, and Alexi Mazareas, senior VP, programming & development, Dick Clark Productions, said in a joint statement, “Billy Idol is a true rock legend whose influence has transcended generations and genres. From his groundbreaking music to his electrifying stage presence, Billy has left an indelible mark on popular culture and the music industry.”

Idol is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Hame this fall.

The 52nd American Music Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, will air live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The show will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 8:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm PT.
