Bret Michaels Announces First New Shows Since Health Scare

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has announced five new shows, marking his return to live performances after postponing his 2026 tour following emergency surgery for a kidney stone.

Michaels will resume performing on October 16 at Founders Square Amphitheater in Portage, Indiana. The show was originally scheduled for August 7 with Night Ranger and has been rescheduled.

He will then perform two shows at Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan, on November 13 and 14, followed by concerts at Northfield Park Racino near Cleveland on November 28 and the Palace Theatre in Pittsburgh on November 29.

Michaels initially postponed several weeks of touring in July after being diagnosed with a complicated obstructing kidney stone that required immediate surgery. He briefly returned to the stage on August 21 at The Bowl at Sugar Hill in Georgia, but doctors and paramedics determined afterward that he needed additional recovery time.

Looking ahead, Michaels will also join the 14th annual Rock Legends Cruise, sailing from Miami to Costa Maya, Mexico, from February 21-25, 2027. The lineup also includes Foreigner, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Collective Soul and other artists.
