It has been two weeks ago today since anyone has seen Mollie Tibbetts. The 20-year-old Brooklyn woman disappeared while she was jogging in Brooklyn. Powesheik County Sheriff Thomas Kriegel talks about the search for Mollie. “On any given day, upwards of 30 to 40 investigators are working on this case. Thus far, in excess of 200 leads have been followed up on.”
Kevin Winker with the lowa Department of Public Safety says they haven’t identified the reason for Mollie’s disappearance and haven’t ruled anything out. He told reporters in Montezuma Tuesday they’re working on the timeline of what she was doing that day
“The timeline is very important, obviously, to us. But it’s also been very important to us to get to know Mollie and understand what’s normal for Mollie, what’s not normal for Mollie.”
