(OSKALOOSA, Iowa) – Another session of Eggs & Issues, organized by the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 8:30-9:30 AM at Smokey Row in Oskaloosa. Attendees will be able to listen to updates from Iowa State Representative Guy Vander Linden, Representative Larry Sheets, and Iowa Senator Ken Rozenboom. After the guests give their updates, attendees will then be able to ask questions for a limited amount of time.
According to a news release sent by OACDG, this will be the last time Reps. Sheets and Vander Linden, as well as Sen. Rozenboom participate as the featured guests this season. The setting is informal and encourages those attending to personally meet and speak to their elected representatives.
This session will be moderated by Oskaloosa Mayor David Krutzfeldt.
“Thank you to George Daily Auditorium staff for volunteering to assist with the sound system,” reads the news release. “[And the] Oskaloosa School System for the use of their cordless microphones, Smokey [R]ow for the use of their coffee house, MidWestOne Bank for the free coffee, all of our media partners, and YOU, our community[,] for coming out and supporting this event.”
Upcoming dates and panels:
