The Oskaloosa Boys’ Basketball team got back on the right track with a huge 90-59 victory over Chariton on Tuesday night.
The Indians got off to a quick 12-0 start and it was all coasting from there as they posted 90 points in a game for the first time since December 5th.
Cole Henry led the way for the Indians with 27 points. He also added 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jarad Kruse had a rough night on Monday against Indianola but bounced back in a big way on Tuesday, posting 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Xavier Foster was also a big factor for Osky, pouring in 19 points with 9 boards, 5 dimes, 1 steal, and 2 blocked shots.
Oskaloosa finishes the regular season 18-3 overall. They will enter postseason play on Monday, February 19th. They will be hosting a doubleheader which includes Bondurant-Farrar playing Knoxville at 6:30 and then the Indians take on Saydel in the first round of Substate 6 action.
The Oskaloosa girls have their first playoff game Wednesday night on the road at Knoxville as they look to pull an upset and get into the regional semifinals.
