Benjamin and Tina Gibson are new parents to little Emma Wren but her birth is anything but run of the mill. The embryo version of Emma was transferred to Tina earlier this year…after being frozen for 24 years.
The embryo of Emma was frozen back in 1992, just 18-months after 26-year-old Tina was born. Now, Emma is the longest-frozen embryo to successfully come to birth.
“Emma is such a sweet miracle,” dad Benjamin says. “I think she looks pretty perfect to have been frozen all those years ago.”

Hipolito Rodriguez might have gotten away with it if it weren’t for his sandals. The very casual criminal reportedly shot at power plant employees in Arlington, Arizona while wearing all black and a pair of sandals. He then walked home, which left a trail of footprints for officers to follow right to Rodriguez’s house. What’s more, the shoes he was wearing were made of recycled tires with numbers on them, which made for very easy to match prints. While the bullets Rodriguez fired hit the employees’ cars, the drivers were not hurt. Now 18-year-old Rodriguez is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault.
