After years of being bickering neighbors, it seems that the feud between Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page has come to an end.

The feud began when Williams moved in next door to Page in 2013. Williams soon began renovations on his mansion, which Page was not a fan of, citing it would be “catastrophic” to his home. Page filed a complaint to the city council about it, which was later overruled.  Page’s home was built in the 1870’s and has protection from construction under U.K. law.

During this feud, Williams said “Jimmy has been sitting in his car outside our house, four hours at a time. He’s recording the workmen to see if they’re making too much noise. And also, two weeks ago, the builders came in and he was asleep in his garden, waiting.” He would then insinuate accuse the Led Zepplin founder of having evidence of “a mental illness concentrating.”

Williams has now changed his tone, issuing an apology to Page. “Jimmy Page has explained to me that certain specific factual assertions which I made were in fact not true and I am happy to accept what Jimmy Page says,” Williams said in his statement. “I understand why Jimmy Page will have found my comments offensive and I apologize for any hurt that they have caused him and his family as a result.”

He also added, “I regret that the press went on to report them and I hope that the press will now remove them.”
