The bar will open at 9:30am and the special will run from until Comey’s testimony is over or 4pm – whichever comes first.

Man Struck By Lightning While Sitting At His Desk
Nick Gemayel was at work at his Rochester AutoWerks garage when it started storming. Considering he was inside sitting at his desk, he probably didn’t think he needed to worry. Then, a bolt of lightning struck the sidewalk right outside the shop.
“I saw from the light switch, a very, extremely, bright flash of light,” Nick remembers, “and the loudest noise, like, ‘crack’ or ‘pop’ I’ve ever heard in my life. Then I was in a black room all of a sudden because all the power went out.”
Damage included burned out wires, phones and computers going down, and, surprisingly, Nick himself. At the urging of firefighters who saw the bolt land, Nick went to the hospital and discovered he had suffered electric shock, which caused a breakdown in his muscle tissue “Honestly, I’m just happy to be alive,” he says. “And I am still kind of in shock over the whole thing to be honest with you.”

The World’s Most Expensive Burger Will Cost You A Pretty Penny
May 28th marked International Burger Day and in celebration, Dutch chef Diego Buik set out to create the world’s most expensive burger. According to Guinness he did just that with a $23-hundred meal.
The burger contains a lobster and gin infused beef patty along with foie gras, white truffle, caviar, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, and Madagascan vanilla. The burger is then stuffed in a brioche bun made with saffron and covered in gold leaf.
The best part? Chef Buik himself knows it’s not the best burger he’s ever had. “Byron in London served me the best burger I’ve ever had,” he explains, “a beef burger on a brioche bun with dried bacon, Byron sauce, tomato, red onion, and aged cheddar. It cost me about $18.” Lesson learned.

Someone tried to fly with grenades in their luggage:
Employees at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport in Alabama were taken by surprise when they found four 40mm grenade rounds in a passenger’s checked luggage. A TSA explosives specialist called to notify police bomb technicians “to ensure everyone’s safety.” It’s unclear if the passenger is facing any charges. Source: AL.com
Woman gets jail time for threatening Sandy Hook parent:
Lucy Richards is not a good person. The 57-year-old from Florida has been sentenced to five months in prison, followed by five months of home detention for threatening the parents of one of the children killed during the Sandy Hook shooting. Richards reportedly believed a conspiracy theory she read online that the shooting was a hoax intended to attack Second Amendment rights. She then left four threatening voicemails for the father of a six-year-old killed. You may remember her from when she made the news for skipping her court date back in April. For what it’s worth, Richards apologized in court.
