Trafalgar Releasing and Mercury Studios have released a trailer for the concert film Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning.
The tracklist for the concert film, which captures Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance with Black Sabbath, has also been unveiled.
The film, which documents “Back To The Beginning,” the July 5, 2025 concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park, just 17 days before Ozzy Osbourne’s untimely death, is set to hit cinemas worldwide on October 28th for a limited time.
“There’s never been a precedent for a show like this,” says the event’s musical director, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello in voice-over. “Millions of people around the world who got to say, ‘thank you Black Sabbath. Thank you Ozzy,'” Morello continues over footage of Osbourne performing with Black Sabbath at the gig.
The show, featuring the first Black Sabbath reunion with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward in over two decades, attracted more than three million requests for the 44,000 available tickets.
The concert film, presented in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound, runs for two-and-a-half-hours. It features some of the most influential names in rock celebrating Black Sabbath’s legacy, and a behind-the-scenes look at the day itself, including insight from show host Jason Momoa and Musical Director Tom Morello.
Jim Parsons, Jamie Silk and Dan Seliger produced the film, which is directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce, with Tim Van Someren directing the live concert.
