DEF LEPPARD DOCUMENTARY HEADING TO THEATERS IN EARLY 2027

Def Leppard Documentary Heading To Theaters In Early 2027

Long Live Def Leppard, the first authorized feature-length documentary about legendary English rock band Def Leppard, is set for a theatrical release in early 2027.

Bleecker Street’s event cinema division Crosswalk has acquired North American rights to the film. The documentary, which was directed, written and produced by Jeff Feuerzeig, was made in close collaboration with the band and will feature never-before-seen footage and extensive access to its members.

The film will chronicle Def Leppard’s journey from working-class Sheffield to global rock stardom, including the success of Pyromania and Hysteria and the major challenges that followed. These include drummer Rick Allen’s accident, which cost him his arm, and the death of guitarist Steve Clark.

Def Leppard have sold more than 110 million albums worldwide and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The band recently completed a sold-out residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
