After a gap of two years, OzzFest will return to Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown in 2027.

Ozzfest 2027 will be held at Birmingham’s Villa Park, where the “Back to the Beginning” concert featuring the farewell performances of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne took place last year.

A brief announcement posted on the official Ozzfest Instagram page reads, “Ozzfest 2027 at @AstonVilla’s Villa Park – more info on everything coming soon!” It did not specify the festival dates.

Founded by by Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne in 1996, Ozzfest was held almost annually until 2018. The Ozzfest tour featured bands of a variety of genres within heavy metal and hard rock.

Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, seventeen days after Black Sabbath’s farewell concert. In the wake of Ozzy’s death, there have been calls to revive the rock and metal festival in his memory.

Sharon Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne had announced in March that Ozzfest would return in 2027 for two nights in Birmingham.
