Jon Bon Jovi, who was forced to abruptly end his Madison Square Garden Show Thursday, July 23rd, amid vocal issues, said he hopes to reschedule the concert.

After struggling to play classic songs such as “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “It’s My Life,” Bon Jovi told the audience, “I know I’m letting you down and it’s not like me to do that. We’re gonna do one more song, and I’m gonna need your help. We might have to cool it because I’m fu**ing hurting.”

The Bon Jovi frontman completed the night halfway through by “Livin’ on a Prayer” with the help of Train’s Pat Monahan. He played on with the crowd singing along.

After finishing, Bon Jovi announced, “Don’t throw away your ticket stubs, I’m gonna figure something out, OK? Just hold onto it, we’ll figure out how to reschedule. But I’m gonna have to cool it for the night. I feel great. I’ll see you again soon, goodnight.”

The singer, songwriter and guitarist, who had undergone reconstructive surgery on his vocal cords four years ago, sang 14 songs in all at MSG.
