OFFBEAT NEWS:
After Getting Shamed Online, Group Who Skipped Out On Bill Pay Up
A group of five people skipped out on a $105.97 bill at the Brass Tap in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Unfortunately for them the bar has a social media presence. The Brass Tap posted about the awful customers, complete with their pictures.
“We will be coming for you and will soon post video and pictures and the authorities have been notified,” the Brass Tap writes. “You can come back in and pay or prepare to be prosecuted.”
Two days later, the group turned themselves in thanks to the traction the story got on Facebook. “They owned up to what they did and were remorseful,” the pub explained in an update. “We consider this matter closed and appreciate everyone helping to close this case. We will be deleting their pictures since this matter is now closed.”

Twin Brothers Arrested On Their Birthday
The Pavlack twins don’t have time for your regular old birthday parties. As a pair of women were being escorted out of the security office of Pittsburgh’s PNC Park, they got into a fight. For some reason, Justin and Joshua Pavlack joined in the brawl, with Justin even allegedly going for one of the officer’s guns.
The Pavlacks ended up being arrested right then and there…on what happened to be their 27th birthday. The men, along with Jocylen Baker and Jacobi Finnegan, were said to be highly intoxicated, belligerent and disorderly throughout the incident.

STUPID CRIMINALS:
Charges dismissed against man accused of stealing mom’s stew:
Jonathan Carlos Ray is finally seeing some justice. Back in 2015, the Albuquerque, New Mexico man was charged with stealing his mother’s Posole, a traditional Mexican stew. The only witnesses were Ray himself and his mom, who accused her son of ignoring her warnings to stay away from the dish and running off with it. Ray was arrested but now, two-years-later, the charges have been dropped. No word on whether the stew was worth it.
Woman arrested for dancing naked on a war memorial:
A 44-year-old woman from Kent, England has been arrested after video of her dancing naked on a war memorial went viral. Someone recognized her from the footage and alerted police. The unidentified woman was allegedly, but probably not surprisingly, drunk at the time. She’s now facing charges for being drunk and disorderly, assault and indecent exposure.
Man steals van after being confused for valet:
Steven Jacobs is nothing if not opportunistic. The 37-year-old stole a minivan from Atlantic City’s Wyndham Skyline Tower after the driver handed him the keys, mistaking him for valet. Jacobs was arrested the next day after cops spotted the car. They also found a loaded handgun in the car with him. All in all, Jacobs was charged with theft of movable property and a weapons offense.
