Neil Young has canceled his 2026 European tour dates with his band The Chrome Hearts.

Young was scheduled to kick off The Love Earth Tour with The Chrome Hearts’ guitarist Micah Nelson, bassist Corey McCormick, drummer Anthony LoGerfo and keyboardist Spooner Oldham in June at the Eden Sessions in Cornwall with support from Elvis Costello and the Imposters.

Announcing the news of his cancellation, Young said, “I have decided to take a break and will not be touring Europe this time. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. I’m sorry to let you down, but this is not the time. I do love playing LIVE and being with you and the Chrome Hearts.”

Young, 80, was also slated to perform at a number of music festival during the summer tour.
