OSKALOOSA — The rains that moved into the area on Tuesday evening coupled with light rains throughout the day on Wednesday and the likelihood of more rain at race time forced the officials of the Southern Iowa Speedway to cancel the race program set for Wednesday, June 18th. The Hall of Fame Inductions will be held on July 9th and the night will include a full night of racing in the regular five classes plus the Vintage Cars will be on the program.
Next up at the Southern Iowa Speedway will be the return of the Super Late Models as the Malvern Bank Super Late Models will make their only visit of 2025 to the Mahaska County monster ½ mile on Wednesday, June 25th. The Super Late Models will be joined by the Stock Cars, Sportmods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts. The Non Wing Sprints will have the night off. Hot laps will take to the track at 7 pm with racing to follow.
In addition, Southern Iowa Speedway Hall of Famer Curt Hansen will be on hand with his 1979 Sanger Chassis Camaro which will be on display prior to the races and Hansen will have his Camaro on track as the pace car for the night.
