Heart Champion Statesmen to Face Keiser in Inaugural NAIA Championship

OSKALOOSA — The William Penn men’s lacrosse team will meet up with the top team in the land as it heads to the inaugural NAIA National Championship next week.

The Heart of America Athletic Conference regular and tournament champion, WPU (12-3) enters the Championship as the #8 seed and will face #1 seed Keiser (Fla.) (12-1) in the quarterfinals of the eight-team event on Wednesday, May 7 at 8 a.m. (Central).

Prior to 2025, the NAIA had only sponsored men’s lacrosse at the Invitational level for the previous eight seasons.

The Championship will be held from May 7-10 at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Ga.

This will be the third time WPU and KU have faced with the Seahawks having won the previous two matchups, including a 13-12 overtime battle in 2024.
