The Iowa Girls Coaches Association unveiled their 2024-25 All-State basketball teams yesterday. Several athletes from the No Coast Network listening area were honored.
Oskaloosa senior Dasia Foster was named 3rd team all-state by the coaches in class 4A.
The 3A all-state team selections included PCM’s Tori Lindsay, who garnered a 3rd team selection.
In class 2A, there were several area athletes that received recognition. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont’s Molly Shafer was a 1st team all-state pick, while Ava Eastlick was selected to the 2nd team. Additionally, North Mahaska’s Breckyn Schilling was named to the 2nd team.
The 1A all-state teams featured 3 more hoopers from the listening area. Those were Ellen Cook of Montezuma and Kate Harthoorn of Lynnville-Sully, who were both 2nd team all-state selections; and Josephine Moore of Sigourney, who earned a 3rd team all-state nod.
