Unofficial results have been completely reported for 97 of Iowa’s 99 counties as of this morning. Results by county are available below for counties within the No Coast Network listening area.
In the presidential election, the ticket of Donald Trump and JD Vance won Iowa’s 6 electoral votes, as they received 899,659 of the state’s 1,603,945 votes. The ticket of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz received 676,319 votes.
Currently, the District 1 US Representative race is too close to call. Mariannette Miller-Meeks has 203,899 votes, while Christina Bohannan has 203,486.
The races for Districts 2 and 3 US Representatives, meanwhile, have been decided. The District 2 race was won by Ashley Hinson, who received 231,292 votes, compared to 168,623 for Sarah Corkery; and the District 3 race was won by Zach Nunn with 213,625 votes, over Lanon Baccam, who received 197,777 votes.
In Mahaska County, there was only one contested local race, which was for the County Auditor position. Jody Van Patten won the election with 7,341 votes compared to 1,923 votes for Michelle Kent.
