After a courtroom tug of war over the right’s to the Ratt name, the reunited band took the stage February 11th at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minnesota.
The trademark dispute nearly disrupted the reunion, as singer Stephen Pearcy, bassist Juan Croucier and guitarist Warren DeMartini went against drummer Bobby Blotzer.
Blotzer had assembled his own version of the group after the others refused to tour, and still, has control of Ratt’s website and social media feeds, but in the meantime, his former bandmates are moving ahead with a growing list of upcoming projects and concert obligations.
Ratt has already lined up a number of festival performances throughout the year, including Rocklahoma.
Ratt’s current lineup, which is rounded out by guitarist Carlos Cavazo and drummer Jimmy DeGrasso, is reportedly working on new material for a follow-up to the band’s most recent release, 2010’s Infestation.
