OFFBEAT NEWS:
Man Sets World Record For Spinning A Cushion On His Hands
It’s official: you can get a world record for anything. Former “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant Thomas “Bounce” Senior is now in the record books for spinning a cushion on his finger for a record-breaking 15 minutes and seven seconds.
After three months of practice, 20-year-old Senior spun a cushion from his sofa in front of a hushed crowd at his local Lancaster, England pub to solidify his record. For what it’s worth, there was no previous record to break.
“I am absolutely chuffed to bits to be in the World Guinness Book of Records, not that many people can say that,” Senior says. “When the envelope came through yesterday with ‘Officially Amazing’ written on the outside I knew what it was. It was a brilliant moment.”
