Foreigner to Be Joined By Original Members for Select 40th Anniversary Shows

To celebrate 40 years in the industry, Foreigner is hitting the road and bringing some familiar faces with them, including Lou Gramm, original frontman for the band.

Along with Gramm’s return, co-founders Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood are joining the lineup as well, according to Billboard. “They’re not on the whole tour, but there will be some appearances,” original Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones said. “It’s the right time to do this. I’m looking forward to that and we’ll see how it goes, and I’m sure it’ll go down well.”

Foreigner is also promising some new material as part of a forthcoming two-disc 40-song anniversary compilation. Jones’ memoir A Foreigner’s Tale is set for publication this spring, as well.
