“Similar to last week, Dalton State’s tournament was a stacked field,” Head Coach Elise Warne said. “It is always a good test for us to see where we are at this time of year. Again, similar to last week, unfortunately we were not satisfied with our results.”
“Our players expressed their frustration with their results in the review of our last two tournaments,” Warne added. “They have a real want to perform after not meeting their standards. They have owned it and have a fire to work over these next three weeks to make sure that we are in peak form heading into conference. These kinds of performances are frustrating, but they give us really good feedback on what we need to work on. We look forward to hosting our home tournament in which we will be able to honor our seniors and their contribution to this program.”
