IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa women’s basketball team dominated Evansville, 115-62. The Hawkeyes set a new program record for the most points scored in a game.
Iowa shot 67.7% from the field and 50% from the 3-point range on Thursday night inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. All-American Caitlin Clark registered her 27th career double-double with 26 points, 12 assists, and five rebounds. Monika Czinano made her presence felt with 23 points and seven boards.
McKenna Warnock nearly missed a double-double registering 15 points and eight boards. Warnock was 3-of-4 from behind the arc. She is now 15th all-time in career 3-pointers made in school history. Freshman Hannah Stuelke has now scored double digits in back-to-back games. A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, finished the night with 14 points, eight rebounds, three dimes, a steal, and a block.
Iowa dominated the paint outscoring the Aces, 62-14. All 13 available Hawkeyes played and scored in the contest.

I thought we played a really good first half. A lot of really good things tonight. We did a great job on the boards both offensively and defensively. We owned the paint tonight, and I always love to see that. I thought McKenna Warnock had a really great game for us. Caitlin had a double-double, so a lot of good things there. Our transition game was so good. I thought Molly and Caitlin both saw that really well and made those passes. We just shot the ball very well tonight from all areas except for the free throw line, which we led the country in free throw shooting last year, but everywhere else was pretty good.
