The list of names up for 2023 Tulip Queen in the city of Pella has now been trimmed to 12 finalists.
12 Pella senior students were chosen to advance to the final stage and will perform at the Tulip Queen Announcement Party on Saturday, November 12, at the Pella High School Auditorium. Those 12 seniors are:
Emma Bogaard, daughter of Spencer and Alli Bogaard.
Tatum Carlstone, daughter of Spencer and Amanda Carlstone.
Samantha Clark, daughter of George and Chandra Clark.
Anna DeNooy, daughter of Sheri and Dan DeNooy.
Braelyn Ensor, daughter of Alissa Gotta and Ben Ensor.
Jasmine Namminga, daughter of Jeff and Crystal Namminga.
Cheyne Plants, daughter of Melissa and Jarrod Plants.
Norma Spiker, daughter of Gretchen and Tony Spiker.
Hailey Van Vark, daughter of Christina and Anthony Van Vark.
Bridget Vande Zande, daughter of Angela and Eric Vande Zande.
Avery Verhoef, daughter of Tena and James Verhoef.
Ellie Wogen, daughter of Angie and Brian Wogen.
The 2023 Tulip Time Queen and Royal Court will be chosen by a panel of judges from the 12 finalists at the conclusion of the announcement party. They will represent Pella at the 2023 Tulip Time Festival May 4-6.
Tickets for the Tulip Queen Announcement Party will be available online November 1-10 (check back later for the link), or they can be purchased at the Vermeer Windmill gift shop November 11 and 12 between 10:00am and 4:00pm. Remaining tickets will be available at the door of the event beginning at 6:15pm.
