Music legend Ringo Starr has put his ongoing tour on hold as he recovers from Covid-19.
Starr and his All Starr Band were forced to cancel their recent shows at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan, and at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota, due to illness.
The former Beatles member has now canceled several of his upcoming shows with his All-Starr Band as he recuperates.
“It has been confirmed today that Ringo has COVID and the tour will be on hold while Ringo recuperates,” said an announcement on Starr’s website.
“Ringo hopes to resume as soon as possible and is recovering at home,” the announcement added. “As always, he and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them back out on the road soon.”
Starr’s second leg of his All Starr Band tour kicked off September 23 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and is scheduled to end on October 20 in Mexico City.
