Pink Floyd’s 1977 album Animals has returned to the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart following its reissue.
The five-track album was reissued in a new mix on CD, vinyl, Blu-ray, SACD and digital download configurations on September 16.
Animals is ranked at No. 3 with 20,000 copies sold in the U.S. in the week ending September 22, according to Luminate.
Physical sales comprise 19,000 and digital downloads comprise 1,000.
A deluxe box set edition of Animals is scheduled for release on October 7.
Animals, the tenth studio album by Pink Floyd, was originally released in January 1977.
It is a concept album, focusing on the social-political conditions of mid-1970s Britain.
The Top Album Sales chart, dated October 1, is led by BLACKPINK’s Born Pink, which is followed by NCT 127’s 2 Baddies at No. 2.
Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales.
