The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association released its 2022 all-state teams over the weekend, with plenty of area athletes featured.
The class 1A first team featured Sigourney senior Levi Crawford. Making the 1A second team was Lynnville-Sully sophomore Corder Noun-Harder as well as Sigourney senior Cade Molyneux. On the 1A third team you had Lynnville-Sully junior Connor Maston and Sigourney senior Bo Schmidt.
The class 2A third team included senior Landon Becker out of Cardinal.
The 3A all-state second team featured three senior players from Grinnell; those being Brady Steward, Alex Smith, and Colin Gibson. The third team for class 3A had the likes of senior Cole Johnson of Grinnell, junior Beau Leisure of Knoxville, and two players from Pella: freshman Isaiah Kettler and senior Jason Knox.
