The Little Hawkeye Conference unveiled its all-conference teams for the 2022 baseball and softball seasons.
Making the first team for softball were Olivia Gordon of Oskaloosa, Ava Curry of Pella, Natalie Harrill and Emilia Agre of Pella Christian, and Ella Grife of Grinnell.
The second team featured the likes of Pressley Blommers and Maleah Walker from Osky, Kylie Tauke from Pella, Greta Dodd, Ashlyn Imhoff, and Kate Van Compernolle from Grinnell, and Kya Butler from Newton.
The list of honorable mentions included Oskaloosa’s Aubrey Boender and Lucy Roach, Pella’s Thea Wisse and Kiki Riggen, Pella Christian’s Emma Eekhoff and Faith Kacmaryinski, Grinnell’s Kelsey Van Compernolle and Rhiannon Rees, and Newton’s Kandace Ahn and Mack Sims.
For the baseball teams: on the first team were Pella’s Keegan Hansen and Isaiah Kettler, Grinnell’s Will Doty, Colin Gibson, and Brady Steward, and Newton’s Turner Williams and Braydon Chance.
Garnering second team baseball nods were Charlie North and Colin Snitker of Oskaloosa, Jason Knox of Pella, Bennett Spronk and Corbin Westerkamp of Pella Christian, Alex Smith and Jaylen Eitel of Grinnell, and Kacey Sommars of Newton.
And the list of honorable mentions featured Osky’s William Schultz and Jarrod Parks, Pella’s Cole Hillman and Tate Weesner, Pella Christian’s Micah DeHaan and Lincoln VanderMolen, Grinnell’s Cole Johnson and Braden Blackford, and Newton’s Kale Swaarts and Brody Bauer.
