The pairings have been announced for the upcoming high school volleyball playoffs. In Class 4A, Oskaloosa is the top seed in Region 3. The Indians will host Fairfield or Mount Pleasant in the semifinals October 21. Knoxville travels to Indianola for a first round game October 19…with the winner playing at Pella on the 21st. The Region title will be decided October 26. Also in Class 4A, Newton hosts Des Moines Hoover in the first round on October 19, while Grinnell travels to Benton on the 19th.
In Class 5A, Ottumwa hosts Waukee in the opening round of the Region October 19.
In Class 3A, EBF hosts PCM on October 18, with Albia hosting Chariton that night.
Pella Christian opens the 2A playoffs with a home game against East Marshall on October 18….while Pekin travels to Danville on October 20.
And the Class 1A playoffs begin October 18 with Twin Cedars at Montezuma, Melcher-Dallas at North Mahaska, Tri-County at Sigourney and Keota at WACO.
